The 5-chamber FLEXbulk is designed to efficiently transport a variety of products. Not only can feed be loaded and unloaded at livestock farms, but raw materials for feed manufacturers can be transported in the same trailer. It is the first trailer of its kind, enabling AB Texel to combine several streams cleverly. This reduces the number of empty kilometres travelled, making transport more sustainable.
Martijn Wiggers, Manager Sales & Service Welgro : "We build trailers that meet the requirements and wishes of our customers. We think with our customers to make transport more sustainable. Together we can achieve more and FLEXbulk is the result. FLEXbulk joins our existing range and will soon be in production. But first we will test extensively alongside AB Texel - quality always comes first for us!
Bas Strijbosch, Director Business Development AB Texel: "The new trailer was developed with an eye on efficiency as well as sustainability. Multi-use allows us to combine trips more intelligently and reduce journeys with no loads. This is in line with our ambition to make our transport even more sustainable and add value to the supply chain.
Building a sustainable partnership
The development of the new trailer is in line with AB Texel's sustainability strategy, of which respectful cooperation is one of the pillars. In terms of business relationships, AB Texel wants to be a valuable partner with whom it can work on innovative and future-proof solutions in the long term. This trailer also helps to reduce CO2 emissions by reducing empty journeys.
