Modern and efficient

Our customers can rely on us to deliver our promises. That's why we always use the best equipment. At AB Texel, we think that goes without saying. We invest in modern and economical equipment from premium brands. The average age of an AB truck is less than three years old. We also provide top-notch maintenance. This avoids unnecessary downtime and delays and means that you, our client, won’t be faced with any unpleasant surprises.

As well as quality, we also offer capacity. Our extensive fleet and dense network means we can organise our journeys efficiently and scale up and down as needed. Even at peak times in the season This means that we are always able to meet our clients’ needs.

Automation and maximum peace of mind

Our trucks and trailers are equipped with up-to-date technology. Such as the latest on-board computers and tablets. Clients can send orders from their own ERP system to our transport management system (TMS) using customised links. Our drivers receive the orders from the TMS on their on-board computers.
After unloading, the client can access the consignment note almost immediately, even without a direct link to our system. These automated processes bring us ever closer to our aim of taking care of the client’s concerns from A to Z.

Sustainability

Investing in sustainability is another of our priorities. For example, the majority of our trucks are equipped with cleaner Euro-6 engines, and some run on LNG. We are also involved in initiatives for cleaner fuels. We employ our own driving style coaches, who train our drivers to drive more economically. They do this by analysing driving style data from the on-board computers. AB’s driving style coaches go out on the road with our drivers so that they can immediately apply the tips in practice.
We also constantly work on damage prevention, because prevention is obviously better than repair. While this is true of damage to equipment, much more importantly it means that our drivers can do their work safely.
